Major (Retired) Shawn Monien
Native of Verona, Wisconsin.
Enlisted armor crewman serving from Private First Class to Sergeant prior to attending Officer Candidate School.
Commissioned armor and cavalry officer serving from Second Lieutenant to Major on three different continents and two combat tours to Iraq.
Co-founder of The Monien Farm - an incubator farmette for developing farming and hunting/outdoor cooperatives for veterans and their families retiring / returning from service.
Have worked since 2010 in the outdoor, hunting, shooting, sporting goods, and military sectors--helping to develop, design, bring to market, and integrate gear to provide outdoors-men/outdoors-women and military members the competitive edge.
Carraigh Monien
Native of Fort Knox, Kentucky.
Was member of Beaver Dam High School Trap and Skeet Team that won Wisconsin State Trap Championship in 2019.
Carraigh is a member of the Wisconsin Army National Guard and the 6th generation in the family to serve in the military dating back to the 1860ʻs and the Civil War.
Has been hunting and shooting since he was three years old and has been big game hunting in Idaho, Georgia, Oklahoma, Wisconsin and Kentucky.
As a consultant, Carraigh is focused on the high school and collegiate aspects of hunting and shooting sports and outreach to military veterans.
Carraigh is also heavily involved in the The Monien Farm and the development of veteran farmette and hunting cooperatives.
